Zaid Shawwa

Zaid Shawwa’s style combines the emotional intensity of abstract expressionism with the deconstructive nature of cubism, in a minimalist expression of the figure and its relationship with its experiences. His paintings are based on real moments in life, intensively sketched and studied to create an image that reflects a feeling rather than an act.

Fadi Daoud

Born in 1984, Jordanian Fadi Daoud’s paintings bring together a symphony of emotions and inspiration. Just like the finest conductor, his linear brush stroke style, Sufi inspiration and influence of iconic regional singers melt seamlessly to create unique works of art that are avidly sought after.

Rym Karoui

The eclectic Tunisian sculpture artist and painter Rym Karoui celebrates the spirit of Africa with a rich palette of energetic and vibrant colors. She has created a wide array of sculptures and paintings, each with a fantastical story to tell.

At the young age of 24, Rym moved from Tunis to Marseille to pursue her Art studies. In this multicultural city, she laid the foundations of her creative journey. Her art draws its inspiration from a personal universe, where contemplation, joy and loneliness collide. 

Through her unique worldview she brings life to the characters she conceives.

Born in 1981 Nissa Raad’s art evokes feelings of nostalgia, taking us on a spirited journey through nature’s bounty. Influenced by Expressionism, Nissa experimented with color theory, and developed her very own color palette. Her bold style and use of multi-media, focusing on textures and layering adds depth and a wealth of years to her tenure as an artist.

Ahmad Nawash

(1934-2017) Ahmad Nawash, is a pioneer who brought modernism to Jordanian art as early the 1960s. This highly regarded artist portrays figures in his own unique style, which perfectly captures the pains and burdens of daily life, as well at the helplessness of loss. Although the themes Nawash tackled are always complicated and dark, his pastel palette provides a gentle contrast that lends him distinction and individuality.

Mohammad Fadel

Palestinian Mohamad Fadel is born in 1977, this self-taught artist is inspired by his city of Haifa and its sprawling seaside. Fadel is unperturbed by reality, his art moves freely without strings and limitations. Just like the sea, Mohamad Fadel’s work ebbs and flows, between dreams and reality, grief and laughter, turning his thoughts into silent paintings.

Hady Boraey

Hady Boraey born 1984 is an award-winning Egyptian artist who offers a contemporary perspective of ancient Egyptian art and Coptic art. Boraey creates a poetic and dramatic world of fantasy of what could lie beyond all sorts of borders. He takes us on an imaginary journey and uses the unknown as a metaphor to highlight the fascination and hope of many young Egyptians to cross the borders of their own country to go settle somewhere ‘where the grass looks greener’.
